A Pre-Tiger panda from little brother…

The fourth series of Tudor chronos was a big leap from the Big Block, the cases having a more Daytona-esque profile and a sapphire glass for the first time.

This version is what collectors call the Pre-Tiger. Shortly after these watches were launched, Tudor unveiled new dials that had TIGER printed on the dial to celebrate the brand’s ambassador Tiger Woods. Imagine that nowadays!

The steel case remains in outstanding condition as does the steel bezel with black tachymeter insert. The soleil finish silver dial has crisp black text and remains in stunning condition. The Tudor-signed Oyster bracelet reference 78400 is in great condition with 605 endlinks and a clasp stamped ‘W 6’. The watch has been fully checked and regulated by our watchmaker.
